Lounge with Us
Come in and stay for a while. Enjoy local provisions, good company, and small village charm. The Store in Southwest Harbor will have Lounge hours available for reservations starting in late Spring of 2022.
Events with Us
The Store in Southwest Harbor Maine is a 1600 square foot space that hosts private parties, small events, workshops, and classes.

The Owners
Richard Bradford
Richard Bradford, the Owner and Founder of Richard Bradford Builder Inc., is known for his creative, detailed, and innovative work. His first job was in landscaping, but he was always drawn to the home. His building career started by hand digging foundations, attaching copper roof caps, and progressed from there the old fashioned way: laborer, apprentice, journeyman, master carpenter, builder.
He has worked on projects in Portugal, London, Block Island, New York City, Los Angeles and in Maine where he established his company, Bradford Builder. He has built and renovated homes for over forty years.
The unique elements housed in The Store in Southwest Harbor reflect what it means to Richard, to build well and to live well.
Michael Leslie
Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised all over these Untied States, but the formative years decidedly New York City. Michael’s work with construction and design started as a young adult. Presently residing in New York City, he continues his trade work in construction and design. Amidst the Covid crisis in New York City, Michael came to Southwest Harbor. During this period of time Richard and Michael opened the Store in Southwest Harbor. The rest continues to unfold as The Store continues to take shape and grow.
